Day two of horse camp began with a drive through the desert to go see a large oak tree in the middle of the desert. Obviously, this is an odd, but cool site. Munchkin had the opportunity to attend horse camp this week, so we took advantage it. Day one began with a walk down the street to meet up with Mr. Jack for lessons in roping. He patiently talked to the entire group and explained the technique. Each child then took a turn. I was so impressed with how he worked with each child in a way that allowed every single child to successfully rope the practice steer.
