About the Author:

Dr. John Ashton is Adjunct Professor of Biomedical Sciences at Victoria University, Melbourne, and Adjunct Professor of Applied Sciences at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University. He served as editor of some of the most compelling books compiled on faith, origins issues, and science essays released in the past several years which include In Six Days and On the Seventh Day. Dr. Ashton lives with his wife, Colleen, and their four children in Sydney, Australia.

My Thoughts:

Evolution Impossible details 12 different reasons why evolution can not be true. I was surprised to find this book was labeled as juvenile non-fiction as several of the technical aspects will probably go over the heads of many young people. At the same time, I appreciate that the arguments were not dumbed down. It’s a delicate balance between providing too much detail and too little detail. For the most part, I feel that Evolution Impossible contained a good balance. This book is not a quick read. Rather, it’s something to read slowly and digest.

A great deal of thought and research went into putting together this book. Dr. Ashton provides some compelling arguments about why evolution can’t be true. It gives readers a chance to really think through the evolution/creation debate using sound reasoning and logic.
