Last night, due to some unknown issues, I had to do a factory reset on my smartphone. I set out to make sure all of my pics and what not were all backed up “just in case”. The fun thing about that whole ordeal was that I saw some of the pics on my phone that I took over the summer which I had forgotten about. I came across this picture of Munchkin and her cousins.
I took this right after we picked them up at the airport. The girls were with us (D and I) while the other adults in our party were trying to get the whole rental car situation figured out. It ended up taking an extremely long time due to multiple issues with the car company, so the girls had fun entertaining themselves in our truck. They immediately clicked like they had never even been apart. (They hadn’t seen each other for around 2 1/2 years.)
They had a blast playing with the stuffed animals and making jokes. Laughter filled the truck. I am so grateful for these wonderful memories and the time that we spent together. While I was not thrilled to have to deal with the craziness of my phone, it was fun to look back on these fun times this summer.
