The Sheep of His Pasture

Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
~Psalm 100:3~

On Friday, as I was driving down to the road on my way to pick up Munchkin from the stables, I came upon a flock of sheep being moved from one location to the next. The “shepherds” and their dogs were guiding the sheep along and keeping them out of harms way. It reminded me of how the Lord is constantly looking out over us and guiding us in the right direction. If we fail to follow His perfect plan for our lives, we run the risk of running into harm’s way in our lives. The road ahead of us is not always easy and sometimes tough love and/or redirection is needed to keep us on course, but the Lord always has our best interest in mind.
