Project 365 – #167
Earlier this morning, I received a phone call saying that our Azure order would be in sometime this afternoon. He would give me a call back once he had a more definite time. We went on with our morning until I received the phone call saying that the truck would be at our pick-up location at 1:00. Since I had several errands to run in that part of town, I decided to leave the house a little early. (I didn’t want to do them after I picked up the order as it was over 100 degrees today.)
Munchkin decided to check out the garden while I got ready to leave. She came in with a nice, large handful of tomatoes much to her delight. She’s having fun watching everything grow. She was even able to pick a few blueberries from the blueberry bush.
After taking care of the errands, I had some time before I needed to pick up the order, so I stopped by the discount grocery store. I was thrilled to find some great deals on snacks and cereal. I headed over to the pick-up location only to find out that the truck was running about an hour late. Ugh!
D asked if I could pick up his pain medication, so I stopped by Walmart only to see that they were closed for lunch. Yep, it was crazy. I turned back around to drive back over to the pick-up location and finally picked up our order. Thankfully, everything came in this time. Unfortunately, the oil in some of our natural peanut butter had leaked from some of the jars. Since I had gluten free ice cream sandwiches in our order, I couldn’t stop and pick up the prescription on the way home.
Munchkin and I unloaded the order and headed back out to pick up D’s prescription. By the time we arrived back home, the heat had completely zapped my energy. Munchkin was a sweetie and offered to make supper for us. I was grateful to be able to relax after all of the running around most of the day.
I’m sure I missed some of the craziness in the writing, but I’m wiped. It’s time to head to bed. 😉
