A Breath of Fresh Air

Munchkin bubble frameProject 365 – #046

After many days inside, I finally ventured out – if only briefly.  I needed to get a few groceries, and D wasn’t going to be able to take us to get them.  His schedule just wasn’t going to allow it.  Munchkin and I headed out, and I prayed that I would be fine until we arrived back home.  The Lord provided.

Our little outing went well even thought the lines at Walmart were horrid.  Munchkin graciously put the groceries away upon our return, so I could rest.  Such a sweetie.

A little bit later, Munchkin got to be just a kid.  Laughter and squeals of delight could be heard as the kids played, jumped on the trampoline, and rode their bikes.  I opened the window to listen and enjoy the fresh breeze.

All too soon, it was time for Munchkin’s friends to head back inside.  Munchkin and I cuddled for a time while watching a little Dr. Quinn.  She was rather warm and bit tired from all of her playing, so the down time was needed.

After the sun had set, we finally heard Daddy’s truck coming down the road.  He was welcomed home.  Poor Daddy hobbled into the house – he tweaked his back again while getting his pack out of the truck.  It’s a good thing he’s heading to the doctor tomorrow.

Now, the house is quiet.  Munchkin and D are sleeping.  Soon, I plan on settling down for the evening and reading before I call it a night.  Tomorrow, I will work on getting caught up with computer related things….
