Project 365 – #034

Yesterday, we had a good bit of fun making and decorating cupcakes.  After we finished making the cupcakes, Munchkin headed next door to see if her friend was available to play.  They were going to play outside, but the temperatures have dropped here.  (Nothing like many parts of the country are dealing with right now, but quite chilly for us.)  I told them that they could play upstairs instead.

Soon, I heard lots of giggling going on as they set up a very elaborate American Girl play scene.  It took them nearly an hour to get everything “just so”, and then the creative play began.  I heard bits and pieces here and there as they played.  They are quite the creative duo.  All too soon, it was time for them to say farewell for now.  (It was time to eat.)  As they started to pick everything up, I told them that since they planned on playing again tomorrow that they could leave most of it set up.  I just needed them to clear the hallway.  This made them grin with delight.

As long as everything goes as planned, I’m sure that Thursday afternoon will be filled with laughter and lots of creative play.
