The Blessing of a Good Husband

Posted in Family, and Holidays

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Daddy

To say I love this man is a complete understatement.  He’s my best friend, and as much as we joke about the statement, he really does complete me.

He loves the Lord and is a God-fearing man.  He seeks to be the spiritual leader and backbone of our family.  He’s in the Word daily.

He works hard day in and day out to provide for us.  He doesn’t complain even if he’s in a great deal of pain.  He does what he needs to in order to complete the job at hand.

He’s compassionate and slow to judge.  He’s firm, but patient.  He leads by example.

He’s a loving father who enjoys spending time with his daughter.  He makes us laugh even when we’re mad or upset.  He knows how to have a good time.  He enjoys just being at home.  He loves me for who I am – flaws and all.

Even though no man is perfect, he is most definitely the perfect man for me.  We work well together.

I love him, and I’m so very grateful to the Lord that he’s my husband.  I appreciate the fact that the Lord watches over him when we’re apart.  I’m grateful for each day that we have together.

The righteous man walks in his integrity;
His children are blessed after him
. Proverbs 20:7

    Great post! Your love for your husband shines through!
