Gluten Free Pan Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 C sweet rice flour
- 1/4 C brown rice flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Directions:
- Combine flours, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Place on plate or bowl.
- One by one coat the chicken breasts with flour mixture. Set aside on plate.
- In pan, heat 1- 1 2/2 inches of oil until it sizzles when sprinkled with water.
- Turn heat down to medium-high and careful place chicken in oil.
- Cook 15 minutes, turning to brown all over.
- Turn heat down to medium-low and cover. Cook chicken until internal temperature reaches 170 degrees F.
Variations:
- Cut chicken in cubes prior to coating with flour to make nuggets
- Cut chicken in strips prior to coating in flour to make chicken strips
