After seeing this week’s challenge of hearts, I knew that I wanted to do something a little different.  When we headed out to the desert, I decided to look for hearts in nature.  It was fun to see how many hearts I found when I was actually looking.  Munchkin got excited by what I was finding,  so she joined in on the hunt for hearts. As I sat watching the Olympics, I thought about all of the support that these athletes needed to get to where they were at right now.  They needed family, friends, coaches, and colleges supporting them each step of the way.  They needed dedication and perseverance as they strove to accomplish their goal.  Shaun White didn’t stomp 2 runs and win the gold by sitting around idly watching others.  He was out there working hard.
