It took me a good bit of reading to get caught back up this week, and then I got headaches which made reading difficult, so I fell behind again.  You would think that after almost 2 months of reading this would be getting easier, but I think the devil is really fighting to keep me from getting into the Word. Hot Cheesy Chicken Dip

One Sunday evening, I needed to come up with a quick, easy meal for us. Since we were low on groceries, I looked around to see what was available, and this is what I came up with for dinner. All you need is one 13 oz can of chicken breast, one 8 oz package of cream cheese, one cup of shredded pepper jack cheese (or other cheese of your choice), and one cup of sour cream.  Mix all ingredients together (reserving about 1/4 cup of shredded cheese).  Place in baking dish and top with reserved cheese.  Bake at 350 degrees…

Soccer and Perseverance

Munchkin has so much fun playing sports.  It’s a good way for her to get exercise, stay in shape, make friends, and learn teamwork.  It also helps her work on persevering through various challenges.  Working through these little challenges help her learn how to face bigger challenges in life. In today’s soccer game, Munchkin was hit with several balls that were kicked quite hard.  There were a few tears shed, but she kept going.  She worked through the pain and continued playing.
