I have to admit that I wasn’t really expecting much from my Mother’s Day as D is gone. I was in for a pleasant surprise! Munchkin hid little notes around the house leading me on a “treasure” hunt. (She did this on Saturday evening before bed and instructed me not to look around the house after she went to bed.) So, on Sunday morning after she got up, we headed out on my treasure hunt. Munchkin and I have been having lots of fun planning for the next school year. What’s the problem you may ask. Well, she’s only a few weeks into the current school year. (We school year around, so she began the new school year shortly after finishing the previous school year.) So, we find ourselves needing to be content in the present.
