Monday Meanderings & Menu Plan Monday

Bible Study/Devotions: In the morning, I am reading the Daily Bread devotionals. In the evening, I am continuing to work my way through the Beth Moore book To Live is Christ. I took some time off from it at Christmas as I was doing a seasonal Bible study. Munchkin will be continuing with her Keys for Kids devotions. Must Do List: I will be continuing the living room work. Creation Museum

We took the opportunity to head over to the Creation Museum while we were on our trip. Munchkin has been wanting to go as she heard about it (prior to it even opening), so she was thrilled that we would finally be able to go. My Dad, Stepmom, and niece joined us on our journey. First of all, I want to thank you for your prayers for our travel safety. We really appreciated it. We left earlier than planned due to a winter storm rolling in… As we drove, we saw many salt/plow trucks waiting for the big storm, but our weather was good (minus a little rain and a few snow flurries). We’re Back!

We had a lovely time with family in December. We were blessed with good traveling weather (overall) both there and back. I’m now scrambling around trying to get caught up with bills and housework. Lots of unpacking and re-organizing to be done. We also need to put away all of the Christmas decorations, so we’ll be quite busy over the next week. D is doing well and keeping quite busy. We were able to talk to him several times during our trip. We were able to talk to him on Christmas Day which meant a lot to all of us.…
