We enjoy having family movie nights at our house.  It’s fun to sit down as a family and watch a great movie.  All too often lately movies seem to contain at least some material that we would prefer to avoid.  I had heard great things about Secrets of the Mountain, so I was optimistic when we received it to watch. Well, since I was so excited about the video series that I found, I figured that I should share it and not keep it to myself. lol! There are a lot of different series put out by Schlessinger Media. We’re using the Grammar for Children series, the Map Skills for Children series, and the Physical Science series right now. They also put out different Earth Science dvds, Weather Fundamentals, History dvds, Math dvds… You name it; they probably have it. Many of their series come in different grade levels as well which is really nice depending on how in depth…

Facing the Giants

Tonight, we finally were able to see the movie Facing the Giants. If you’re looking for a great, inspiring, God-centered, family-friendly movie, this is the movie for you and your family. It created some great comments and discussions with our daughter as we were watching it. I wish I could write a really good review, but this is one that you just really need to see. Tissues are definitely recommended.
