Desert Lapbook

Munchkin decided that since we now live in a desert that we should do the desert lapbook that we received from A Journey Through Learning. We started off this mini unit by heading out on a field trip to the desert. We were able to see the desert before a rainstorm and after a rainstorm. It was interesting to see the differences. A Journey Through Learning offers beautiful, full color lapbooks and unit studies at affordable prices. Most of the lapbooks include a study guide so you and/or your student don’t have to search for the answers. Munchkin really enjoys doing lapbooks as long as she doesn’t have to do too many at once. In other words, she prefers to do only one lapbook at at time. We have used lapbooks as complete studies by themselves or as review of what has already been learned.
