Hiking Old Stamp Mill Trail

Posted in Family, Outdoor Adventures, and Photography

On Sunday, we decided to head out and enjoy the Lord’s creation by having a picnic by the water and then hiking the Old Stamp Mill Trail at Picacho State Park.  Little did we know that our idea of having a picnic by the water would be foiled by a windstorm. The Blessing of a Good Husband

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. To say I love this man is a complete understatement.  He’s my best friend, and as much as we joke about the statement, he really does complete me. Family Hiking at Picacho

Posted in Family, Holidays, and Outdoor Adventures

It wasn’t that long ago that taking longer hikes with Munchkin and D was a huge task for me.  My inhaler was in constant use, and I was in a great deal of pain.  It wasn’t a matter of being out of shape.  It was various health issues that caused me to struggle.  It was frustrating for everyone involved. I am so grateful that I am now able to hike along with my family.  Oh, I’m still lagging behind them a bit, but that is partially because of my short legs and partially due to not being as in shape…
