I very much enjoy looking at Christmas lights. No matter where we are living, we try to find a very nice Christmas light display. Tonight, I will fill our stockings and climb into a comfy bed with my Marine as he is safely home with me on this December eve. Sadly, there are many other families who will be without their deployed loved one. Since CHRISTmas is right around the corner, we decided to watch the Polar Express as part of our family movie night. I kept reading about how others had made a fun routine out of it by everyone wearing pjs, drinking hot chocolate, and eating cookies. I decided to make ours a little more special by creating tickets based upon the polar express party pack that I found online. I printed out the tickets on some light blue paper. Today, Munchkin and I focused on some deep cleaning/organizing around the house. You know those stash and dash cleanings you do before company comes over? Well, maybe you don’t do that, but around here, we do. (We’re getting better though. **grin**) Somehow, half that stuff seems to stay in the closet/storage area, and it keeps building up.
