Munchkin’s New Drafting Table

This week a big package arrived on our front porch. Inside of it was Munchkin’s Christmas gift from her grandma and grandpa. Opening the big box revealed that her gift was a new drafting table (creation station). She was beyond excited as it’s something that she’s been wanting for quite some time. She immediately set to assembling it while we watched a Christmas movie. She was able to get it mostly assembled by herself with just a little help from Daddy. It’s funny how the same Christmas tree that has looked rather large in most of our homes looks a bit smaller at the cabin next to the large fireplace. I am so grateful that this year we have a floor instead of plywood, and that we have a fully insulated cabin. Our Christmas Vacation 2012

As you already know, we drove up to Michigan for our Christmas vacation this year, so we could spend Christmas with our families for the first time in many years. A lot of planning went into making this all come together as there were a good number of people involved.
