Camping, Riding, Stress Relief

D’s had an busy week at work.  He was suppose to be heading out of town for a conference, but things at work kept him from going.  We decided that we needed a little break to allow him to get away from everything, so we’re heading out for a short overnight camping trip.  He plans on doing a little of this… We plan on doing a little exploring.  Mainly, I plan on relaxing and reading.  I’m sure Munchkin will make sure we have games on hand to play. Sand Hollow State Park

Sand Hollow State Park is a campground that calls to boaters, fisherman, and off-roaders alike.  You see, this state park has different campground options to accommodate many different types of campers.  Why did D decide that he wanted to come to this particular campground?  Well, he thought Munchkin would like the lake, but he also liked that we could hit lots of trails/open riding spaces with the dirt bike and RZR directly from our campsite. Dinosaur Tracks

We arrived in Bryce Valley on Saturday evening and promptly crashed.  We were exhausted from our travels up here to Utah.  We left even though we knew that Munchkin was still sick.  It’s never an easy decision, but since she was dealing with things related to her allergies, we knew that it wouldn’t matter if we were home or away.  Either way, she’d be feeling less than stellar.  She was able to rest on the long car ride here.
