The Barber Who Wanted to Pray is an imaginative tale by R.C. Sproul which is based on a true story.  Mr. McFarland was leading family devotions one evening when his daughter asked him how to pray.  He weaves a wonderful tale about a barber who learns how to pray from an outlawed Monk.  This outlawed Monk is non other than Dr. Martin Luther.
