Sweet Conversations

I treasure our family Bible study time.  It’s during this time that we learn, grow, and have some of the most precious conversations.  Our Bible study time gives D and I the opportunity to really see where Munchkin is at spiritually and help her in her Christian walk.  She is able to share what is on her heart and going through her mind.  There are times that the talks are difficult due to the topic discussions, but we always walk away feeling closer to Christ and each other. Campsite Bible Study

Project 365 – #212 The first week that we were out camping, we found ourselves alone at our campsite for our Sunday morning Bible study.  Even though the daytime temps were too hot to comfortably sit outside for extended periods of time, we were able to eat our breakfast and do our Bible study outside at the picnic table.  I’ve always enjoyed being out in nature while studying God’s word.  Since we are working our way through Genesis, it seemed rather fitting. Bible and Character Studies

As I wrote about a couple of weeks ago, one of the new things that we’ve added to Munchkin’s studies recently is the Keepers of the Faith: Keepers at Home program.  We’re still working on various details and figuring out exactly how we want to implement the program into our schedule, but slowing, the pieces are falling into place.  As part of the program, Munchkin will be working on Bible and character studies.  Using some resources I found online, I assembled 3 different workbooks to get her started.
