Project 365 – #297 D’s back surgery was scheduled for today. Originally, it was set up for us to arrive at the hospital at 9:00. This weekend, we were told that it had been rescheduled for 1:30, and we’d need to be there at noon. Because D had suffered from migraines for most of the weekend, we had planned on spending some quality family time together the morning of the surgery. Project 365 – #296 As we were finishing up with our pictures yesterday, I looked up and saw this cross on the hill. I thought it was a perfect reminder of what Christ did for our. He is willing to take all of our burdens – to lighten our load.

I’m rather funny about getting new family pictures before any major event such as a deployment or surgery. It’s just how I am, and thankfully, my family doesn’t mind. lol! Daddy always enjoys having new pictures of his girls. **grin** Since D’s surgery is Monday afternoon, we decided that today would be a good day to head out to a local hiking area not too far from here to take pictures.
