Reading on the Go

Posted in Family

Project 365 – #250 Yes, I still very much like the feel of a book in my hands.  I like being able to physically turn the pages and quickly flip to my favorite passages.  Yet, I do like the ease of being able to slip a multitude of books into my purse in the form of my Kindle.  I can take my Bible and devotional with me as well as several different books without the weight and bulk of carrying all of these things.  I’m so torn between the old fashioned way of reading and the digital age.  I don’t…

Just Visiting

Project 365 – #249 When you have newborns in the house (whether human or otherwise), visitors are never far behind.  Munchkin and her friend are very much enjoying spending time with the babies.  They still like to hide a good bit of the time, but if you just spend some time in their cage, they will apparently come out to play.  (The lighting on the picture above is off, but I still like it as it captures the moment.) Let’s Go Ride a Bike

Posted in Family, and Fitness

Project 365 – #246 Before D’s surgery, we purchased a bike trainer for him to be able to use for fitness after his surgery.  He used it until he was able to ride outside.  We won’t go into the fact that shortly after he started riding outside he took a nasty spill.  Thankfully, it didn’t injure his back.  His doctor cleared him to ride, and he needs to work to get back in shape.  Riding is one of the things he uses as part of his fitness routine. We enjoy taking bike rides as a family, but the summer months…
