Project 365 – #255 While Munchkin has been doing high school work in some subjects for a little while now, this year is the first year where she’ll be doing high school level work in all subject, so she’s **gulp** officially in high school.  Yikes!  How did that happen?  She’s excited, but a little leery of the extra work that comes along with doing high school level work in all courses.  It has been fun planning some of the classes for this year because I’m starting to have the opportunity to really tailor her learning to her passions/interests due to having completed…

Game Day Fun – Go Blue!

Project 365 – #253 I grew up watching Michigan football games. Some of my fondest memories with my Dad growing up were going to the Big House to watch football games. Moving away from Michigan didn’t change my enjoyment of watching the Wolverines battle it out.  We didn’t always have the opportunity to watch MI football depending on where we were stationed, but we at least tried to keep tabs on how things were going.  Now, Munchkin is starting to enjoy watching some of the games with us. Power Outage

Project 365 – #251 What do you do when a power outage comes along – a huge outage that covers southern Arizona and southern California and parts of northern Mexico?  Well, first you pray that it doesn’t stay off very long as it’s really hot outside, and you have lots of food in the fridge & freezer that you don’t want to go bad.  Then, you try to find out what caused the outage and how long it’s suppose to stay out. If you’re a kid, you have fun playing with cute guinea pigs, and you learn that constantly going…
