Project 365 – #250
Yes, I still very much like the feel of a book in my hands. I like being able to physically turn the pages and quickly flip to my favorite passages. Yet, I do like the ease of being able to slip a multitude of books into my purse in the form of my Kindle. I can take my Bible and devotional with me as well as several different books without the weight and bulk of carrying all of these things. I’m so torn between the old fashioned way of reading and the digital age. I don’t think I could ever give up good old fashioned reading material no matter how convenient digital books may become…
Do you think people felt this way about emails and the internet when it first started to catch on? How about you – good old fashioned books, e-books, or a combination of both? Do you have a preferred reading method (phone, computer, tablet, e-reader?)?
Well, I better go download my latest book as D has a doctor’s appointment today, and I want to have some reading material on hand for the wait.
Love this post 🙂
I love my Kindle. Love love love it! BUT I will *NEVER* give up books. I have purchased books after reading them on the Kindle because I just love the feel and smell of a book. I would say I’m a combination kind of gal. But I do not like reading for long periods on time on the computer. Love my Kindle.
Haha! It’s funny you mention the internet! I was a bit like that at the start “who needs it, we can just go to the library for information” LOL

Both (iPad & iPhone)….but I still prefer old fashion. THEN books on CD, then e-books. LOL!

We have an iPad but I don’t really like reading books on it or the computer. I’d rather have a book in my hands. My hubby however loves to read books on the iPad and has bought and read many. I guess it is just easier than going to the bookstore and he can read a lot more.
