During the week, D eats waffles that I have made and frozen for him. (I’m not getting up that early and making waffles. lol!)  If for some reason there are no waffles ready, he’ll eat cereal, but he prefers the waffles. Munchkin & Math

Munchkin has a love/hate relationship with math. Some days, she really enjoys it, and other days, well, she really hates it. She’s good at math, but she is also use to it being easy. As things get more difficult, she gets more frustrated. She’s also a perfectionists, so that can make math a bit tedious. Right now, she is having fun with an online math program, Mathetics, that is challenging yet fun. Family Time & Field Trips

Sometimes, I spend a good bit of time planning out our field trips.  I’ll do research, and we’ll do a lapbook or read books about where we are going.  Other times, we just go and learn from the information available on site.  We will pick up brochures and sometimes a book to read after the fact.  The staff on site is usually more than happy to point you in the right direction and answer questions.  Yesterday, after packing a picnic lunch, we hopped in the car and headed out for a couple of field trips.  There really was no planning…
