Narnia

Yesterday, we went over to the local dinner theater with our homeschool group for a lunch showing of their production — Narnia. We had chicken breast sandwiches, apples, goldfish, oreo snackers, and a juice box. The production, although greatly different than the book/movie, was good. The kids were clapping very loudly after each scene. We had a wonderful time.

Sadly, it’s been way too long since I’ve posted. We’ve been busy with different activities and unfortunately, some illness over the past month. November Highlights: November 4th was the Marine Corps Ball. Munchkin attended with us for the first time this year. It was wonderful watching the ceremony through the eyes of a child. The waitstaff was wonderful and made her feel like a princess. They brought her all of her own special food (even though that wasn’t part of what was “required” of them). More Halloween Fun

On Halloween night, we didn’t go trick-or-treating. We headed over to the October Fun Night at church. Little Song Bird had a blast. They had all kinds of different game booths set up and the kids could go as many times as they wanted. They had candy for the prizes, so she still came home with a good bit of candy (not too much though). They also had a moon bounce and puppet show. Halloween Fun

On Monday, D’s work had some trick-or-treating set up for all the kiddos. They had candy stops at each of the conference group rooms. They also had some food from Chili’s for everyone, but unfortunately, it wasn’t very good. Someone decided to be a genius and do a fog machine which ended up making the whole building smoking. It set off the fire alarms, and the fire department had to come to clear out the smoke from the building.
