The winds are now picking up, and Munchkin and I are getting a bit chilly.  Our hoodies aren’t quite cutting it now, so we decide to pull out the jackets.  D is laughing at us because we have our hoods up trying to protect our ears from the cold wind. Interesting tidbit… Paria is a Paiute word meaning “water with elk” or “water with mud.” (from Your Guide to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks) Our next stop will be Swamp Canyon.

Vocabulary Cartoons: SAT Word Power by New Monic Books Vocabulary doesn’t have to be boring or difficult.  Vocabulary Cartoons uses fun cartoons and mnemonics to help students remember difficult to remember vocabulary words.
