While our family was here visiting, we visited a place called Nauticus. We had a lot of fun. Munchkin’s favorite part was petting the shark. I also like the way this picture turned out. It’s a picture of a replica ship at the museum.

Prayer Chain

Robin from Heart of Wisdom will be undergoing surgery tomorrow. Let us lift her up in our prayers. Here’s the info from her blog: Robin will be having heart bypass surgery tomorrow, July 6th, to correct a severe blockage in her left artery. We don’t know the exact time yet because they are having to “squeeze” her in the schedule. I will not live in fear. I will not allow Satan to have that control over my life. A couple of weeks ago, I was reading the Thankful Thursday posts. When I ran across a post over at Where My Treasure Are, I was so saddened. You see, one of her friends lives in fear each day that the casualty officer will come to her home and tell her that her husband has been killed in action. A New School Year

It’s hard to believe, but we’re getting ready to start the new school year. Yes, I know that sounds odd considering most public schools just got finished with their year, but we homeschool year around. Why? Honestly, munchkin is better able to stay on top of things when there isn’t a long break in between learning periods. Also, we like to be able to take breaks as we see fit. Often this means, whenever Daddy is home, we’re not schooling. We can take time off whenever we have family in town or when we need to head somewhere. This allows…
