“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 This morning, Munchkin did not want to go along with the time change. I just wanted an extra hour of sleep, but alas, that was not to be. So, we got up and moving earlier than expected. Now, normally, this would be a good thing as we wouldn’t be rushed getting ready for church. Unfortunately, the extra time ended up being a hindrance for my…

Today, the cool winds of fall started blowing and the tempertures began falling. As we sat inside, we were grateful for the warmth of the house. As we stepped outside to head to soccer practice, we were grateful for the warmth of our clothes. We watched as people shivered as they waited for the bus or walked to the store. We were grateful to be riding in our truck. On the way to practice, we talked about the fact that we were missing D. We were grateful that we had been able to talk to him earlier in the day.…
D is on his way home (finally), so I’ll be taking a blogging break while he’s here. We don’t want to waste any of our precious moments together during this special time. I’ll be back once we’ve bid him farewell. I’ll still be checking my email, so if you need to contact me, you can just shoot me an email. She just figures that he’ll be home tomorrow since it’s already…

The main thing is that Munchkin and I worked together and got it finished. Here’s how it turned out:
Soccer
Posted in Family, Homeschooling, and Thoughts
This year, Munchkin is playing on a Christian homeschool soccer league. She’s having a blast learning the game and just getting out there and playing. She has practices on Friday and games on Saturdays. The good news is that Daddy will actually be able to see a game or two before he deploys!! Her season lasts from September to November. So, we start out toasty and end up freezing (or so I’ve been told). Here are a few pictures. We Scored!!!
