Several people have questioned why I would use the Devil in my name. I have to giggle a bit as I can see how it might be misconstrued for those outside the military. Well, we headed down to Norfolk on Saturday to check things out. We had viewed a few houses that looked nice on the internet, so we thought we’d check out the area. Boy were we surprised by the neighborhoods. Many were quite scary, so we learned that we’re going to really need to be careful about where we buy. We also found that we’ll probably need to live a little further from the base in order to find something that we like that’s not crazy high in price (especially for what you’re actually getting). That’s right. It’s getting to be that time again that we are preparing for another move. We’re surprisingly heading to Norfolk, VA. We’ll be starting house hunting soon as it looks like it might be difficult to find a decent house in our price range that won’t be a commute for D. We may go over and look this weekend since it’s less than 3 hours away. We’ll see. D is doing research to try to find out what exactly he’ll be doing once he gets there. It will be an adventure, I’m sure.
