Yesterday, I received an email from a local yahoo homeschool group that I belong to. A couple of ladies were inviting other homeschooling families to come join them for a day at the park. Well, being new to the area, I had no idea where the park was, but I was eager to start making contacts (and hopefully friends) in the area. I emailed one of the ladies to get directions. Field Trip: Aquarium

Well, I told Munchkin that we’d have some fun this week, so we started off the week by heading to the aquarium for a field trip. I have decided that it’s time to get that new camera. I can’t hold out any longer. I don’t want to miss out on memories due to a bad camera. Anyway, here are some pictures from our day. Read to Me Update #1

Well, we started off on the right foot, and then life caught up to us. Too much going on…. So this week, I’m trying to recommit to our original schedule of reading. I had planned on continuing with the Narnia series, but I forgot to bring it with us this week. So, we’ll just be reading something else. We’re still doing ok with the individual reading, but we haven’t been reading every day. I want to make that a priority for us. So that’s how we’re doing right now.
