Field Trip: Aquarium

Posted in Family, and Homeschooling

Well, I told Munchkin that we’d have some fun this week, so we started off the week by heading to the aquarium for a field trip. I have decided that it’s time to get that new camera. I can’t hold out any longer. I don’t want to miss out on memories due to a bad camera. Anyway, here are some pictures from our day.

Munchkin petting and then feeding the horseshoe crab:

We became small and travelled through the wetlands as little beings. Then we ran into this!

The newest temporary exhibit was the penguins:

One of the cutest creatures we met were the river otters. They spent their time basking in the sun:

We entered into a submarine and were quickly surrounded by sharks.

We took a nature walk and found ourselves looking at birds, fish, and turtles.
We had a wonderful day and can’t wait to go back with Daddy. There are two main buildings connected by a beautiful 1/3 mile outdoor nature walk. Along the nature walk, there are many different activities. While it was a little chilly, we still enjoyed being outdoors.
