Munchkin is having fun with her natural health class. This week, she’s learning about natural skin care products. As she’s looking at products to avoid (and why), she started to get more excited about making her own skin care products with natural ingredients. USS Midway

While we were over in San Diego spending time with Grandma and Grandpa, we decided that we would visit the USS Midway. To make the trip even more fun, we hopped on the ferry in Coronado and road it over to San Diego. We explored the ship, learned a bit more about aircraft carriers, and enjoyed listening to the World War II veteran. Putting Together Homeschool Courses

Over the next few days (weeks?), you’ll probably see a few protected posts on the blog. You may be wondering what is going on. Well, I’m working on putting together homeschool courses for Munchkin. Because Munchkin is working fairly independently now, I need to assemble all her course work (as much as possible) in advance. We’ve tried a variety of methods of presenting assignments, but I’m beginning to see that she likes having everything laid out up front. This gives her an idea of what to expect for the class itself.
