Chicken with Cranberry Blueberry Sauce

Posted in Gluten Free, and Homemaking

What do you do when you have some extra blueberry and cranberries that need to be used up? Well, I decided to create a raw sauce for our pan grilled skinless, boneless chicken breasts. After eating it, both D and I decided that it would also taste great on ice cream, so we used some of the leftover sauce on some homemade vanilla blender ice cream later that evening. Yum! These are all rough ingredients as a great deal will depend on your desired sweetness/tartness. I just put together what I needed to use up. Ingredients: 1/2 cup blueberries 3…

A Watermelon Summer

Posted in Family, and Photography

I can remember back when Munchkin was just little. We were…

You think you’re headed in one direction and the door slams in your face and leaves you feeling a bit lost and puzzled. Yep, those type of closed doors. Mexican Sirloin Tips 3 Ways

Posted in Gluten Free, and Homemaking

I just love it when you can make one main item and use it for multiple meals just by adding some different sides. The sirloin tips were such a huge hit that Munchkin asked to have them again rather than having steak for father’s day. Ingredients: 1 steak per person (more if you need extra left-overs) sea salt (I use a sea salt grinder) pepper (I use a pepper grinder) cumin Directions:…
