Works for Me Wednesday: Manual Binder

We had so many different product manuals lying around the house that it was crazy. Then, there were all the manuals that my husband had for all of his stuff in the garage. Needless to say, I needed to find a better way to organize them and keep them all in one location. I created binders (Garage Edition, House Edition, Electronics Edition) and put all of the manuals in sleeve protectors in the binders. (Ok, I’ll be honest. Tackle It Tuesday: Packing

Well, as you know, we closed on our new house on Friday. Now, it’s time to really get to work packing. I posted a moving boxes wanted on my local freecycle group, and received a couple of offers. I’ll be picking up those boxes today. No more putting off the packing now. We’ve created a staging area in one room (for now) where all of the boxes will go. So, my first tackle will be picking up the boxes. My next tackle will be finishing the packing in the staging room. My daughter will be joining me in this tackle…

Meal Plan Monday

Wow! I can’t believe it’s Monday already. Last week flew by with everything that was happening. I’m not overly organized **sigh** this week, so we’ll be going mainly with some old stand-bys. 1. BBQ Chicken with veggies 2. Pasta w/marinara sauce & fresh bread 3. Chicken and rice 4. Breakfast for supper 5. Quasedillas with veggies 6. Chicken, potato, corn bowl 7. Hot dogs or hamburgers with french fries Anyway, sorry for running late this morning. We were having power issues yesterday. The snow caused some trees to fall on the power lines. Brr!!!

Spaghetti Sauce Recipe

Since a more concrete recipe for my spaghetti sauce was requested… Here’s a rough estimate of what my recipe looks like: Ingredients: 2 can tomato sauce/paste1 can diced tomatoes1 onion1 green pepper2 cloves of garlicItalian seasoning, salt, pepper to taste2 Tbsp brown sugar Directions: 1. Empty cans into large pot and turn heat on low2. Saute onions and green pepper in butter and olive oil until onions are translucent. Add garlic towards the end.3.
