Pancakes for Lunch

Project 365 – #129 Today, D decided that he really wanted some gluten free pancakes for breakfast.  Well, the problem was that it was almost lunch time before he woke up.  (The pain meds tend to make him rather sleepy in the morning.)  I told him that I would be happy to make him some pancakes for lunch.  In our Bountiful Baskets this week, we had some delicious organic apples that I decided to dice and add to the pancake mix.  To round out the pancakes, I added some cinnamon. Project 365 – #126 Today, D was able to play with Munchkin on the Wii for a period of time while I ran out to get a few groceries.  Munchkin treasured this time, and I was glad that D was finally able to sit up long enough to do this with her.  Now, they weren’t playing an active game in any way, shape, or form.  Nope.  They were playing Lego Star Wars.  Our family rather enjoys Star Wars and Legos, so this is a good pairing for us. **grin** Later on, Munchkin was able to go to the pool with…

A Stroll around the Culdesac

Project 365 – #123 Remember when I jokingly said that we’d be walking around the culdesac for our anniversary?  Well, today, we were able to take a very slow stroll around our culdesac.  While our little walks are extremely slow and usually short, it’s nice to be able to hold hands and talk while we stroll along.  Minus the super slow part, it reminds me of when we were dating and first married.  We always enjoyed taking walks and talking.  Usually, Munchkin likes to walk in between us, so she can hold both of our hands.  These days, it’s pretty…
