It’s hard to believe, but it’s already Thursday and time for this week’s edition of Thankful Thursday. This week has had a lot of ups and downs. My posting has been infrequent due to all kinds of car issues that we’ve been dealing with over the course of a few days. I am thankful that we have 2 vehicles, so when one is having issues, we still have a means of transportation. I am thankful that my husband knows about cars/trucks, so we normally do not have to pay someone else to do the repair work as that is extremely…

Busy Weekend

We spent all day Friday working on the deck. D cut and placed all of the wood and I screwed all of the boards down. That was a lot of work. D finished up the stairs on Saturday. Then, we set up the gazebo. We’re so please with how it turned out. It still needs a bit of “decorating”, but it feels good to be done. Now, if it stops raining, we can enjoy it.

Thankful Thursday: Spiritual Growth

Well, we experienced a big spiritual growth moment with our daughter this week. On Tuesday, we sat down to do devotions with Munchkin in the evening; she announced that she wanted to start doing these devotions on her own.
