Thankful Thursday

Posted in Family

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” I Thessalonians 5:18

I am thankful that my daughter was able to get almost a full nights sleep last night. After several nights of very little sleep, this was a very welcome relief.

I am very thankful that the new gluten free diet has been helping D so far. I’m sure it will be a rocky road as we learn all of the ins and outs, but it’s worth it if his health (and ours) improves.

I am thankful for finding a great church where we feel at home. It’s wonderful to be able to enjoy church again. My daughter is excited about church once again which is a beautiful thing.

I praise the Lord for my daughter’s spiritual growth. We are enjoying watching her enjoying her own devotions and leading us in prayer. We are enjoying our family devotions in the evening and the discussions that come from this time.

I am thankful for the wonderful growth in our garden (even though the bunnies have enjoyed all of the lettuce a bit too much). We’re also thankful for all of the wildlife that we’re currently enjoying in our backyard.

I think the closer we are to God’s creation, the better. I believe that this applies to nutrition too.
It is so good to see your child on God’s path!

I really wonder what it is about lettuce – we tried to crow them once, but our neighbor’s cat ate it all 🙁

I am so thrilled to read that your gluten free diet is working :)…

Neat that you have found a church where you all are comfortable at.

Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us this week.

    Blessings to you and yours.
