Thankful Thursday

Posted in Family

This week’s Thankful Thursday post will be brief — not because I lack things to be thankful for, but because of one of the things that I am thankful for. I am thankful for my very precious daughter. This week has had its ups and downs, but we really have had a good week overall. The Lord has blessed me with a child that has a huge heart. Yes, we have our problems, but I really can’t complain (even when she’s up for the millionth time in one night). Children truly are a blessing from God. “Behold, children are a…

I’m Still Here

Yes, I’m still around, but I’ve been away from the bloggy world for a bit. Munchkin has needed extra Mommy time. We’ve been busy with getting back on track with school and lots of fun activities. Monday, the library had a fun event which involved African drums. It was all about drums in history. They even made their own drums. As you can imagine, this was a big hit. Since we were having so much fun, I found a book about polymer clay miniatures at the library. I showed how to make all kinds of little goodies. We picked up some more polymer clay (on sale)…

Munchkin is now keeping a verse journal. She’s writing down the verses that stick out as special for us as we go through our lessons. I’m thankful that I was able to pick up the Prairie Primer very inexpensively. It’s been wonderful to watch Munchkin light up and really look forward to the daily readings and lessons. I’m thankful for the caring spirit of my daughter. She’s been…
