After seeing the fun Tiny Treats featured in Family Fun magazine, we decided that these would be perfect for Munchkin’s American girl doll collection. We headed over to Michael’s to pick up some polymer clay. We’ve never worked with polymer clay, so really we didn’t know what to expect, but we ended up having a lot of fun making all of these goodies.
Since we were having so much fun, I found a book about polymer clay miniatures at the library. I showed how to make all kinds of little goodies. We picked up some more polymer clay (on sale) at Jo Ann Fabrics, and went to work on making more little goodies. This time, we tried our hand at veggies.
We really had a lot of fun doing this, and I’m sure that we’ll be doing many more “projects” in the weeks to come with our new polymer clay. Don’t you think this is a great activity for homeschool art?
This looks like so much fun! So these are all doll size?
Yes, they are all approximately doll size. 😉
how creative you and munckin were
Those are wonderful!
what a creative idea. I would have a blast doing this too.
Those turned out terrific!!!
Nice job! That looks like so much fun!

Your lettuce is fabulous. Simply fabulous. And you’ve never worked with polymer before?
(Hmm. I just noticed that with a different color of clay you could be making equally fabulous roses.)
Did both of you make all of those? Wow, they look amazing! You could start your own business. My kids love to work with the Polymer Clay…I just wish it wasn’t so expensive. I love the creativity they come up with when they use it though! 🙂
