We absolutely love fresh baked bread. Only, I like to cheat and use the bread machine. It took a while before I found a recipe that I really liked. Have fun adding different types of grains with it. This is the standard recipe. Oatmeal Bread Ingredients:1 1/2 c water (warm)1/4 c sugar1/4 c vegetable oil2 tsp salt1 tsp lemon juice1 c wheat flour2 c all purpose flour1 1/2 c quick-cooking oats (not instant)2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast Directions:In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. I am not a morning person. I get my best, most restful sleep in the morning hours. There are several factors that come into play here, but that’s not what this post is about. Tackle It Tuesday: Organization

This week, for Tackle it Tuesday, I decided that I needed to tackle cleaning and organizing the refrigerator, freezer, and pantry. Thankfully, D was willing to help me take care of the few science experiments that were found. I think everything ended up looking pretty good in the end. Updated to add the spice cabinet. I was motivated to finish up all areas, so I also tackled the spice cabinet today.
