One of our Christmas traditions is that each year we get new pjs. This was something that my mom always did for my sister and I growing up, so I decided to keep the tradition when D and I got married. In the past, we purchased pjs (at least for D and I).  This year, I saw some family pjs at different stores online. I thought that was a really cool idea, but I could justify the expense. Munchkin decided that she wanted to have some lights on the house this year. I use to put up lots of lights, but we haven’t that for the last couple of years. So, I pulled out the old lights, and we started decorating. I checked the lights prior to hanging them, but shortly after they were plugged in, some of the lights went out. One of the crazy things with being in the military is that you never know what type/size of house you will be in next.  What works at one house won’t necessarily work at the next house.  You end up with various decorations, pictures, curtains, and what not that worked in the old house but didn’t work in the new.  You’re always looking for inexpensive ways to make your house look like your home.
