One of our Christmas traditions is that each year we get new pjs. This was something that my mom always did for my sister and I growing up, so I decided to keep the tradition when D and I got married. In the past, we purchased pjs (at least for D and I).  This year, I saw some family pjs at different stores online. I thought that was a really cool idea, but I could justify the expense. I decided that I would make us matching pj pants. I picked up the patterns (Butterick B5153) after Thanksgiving for 99 cents…

Munchkin decided that she wanted to have some lights on the house this year. I use to put up lots of lights, but we haven’t that for the last couple of years. So, I pulled out the old lights, and we started decorating. I checked the lights prior to hanging them, but shortly after they were plugged in, some of the lights went out.
