This is my semi-homemade version of gluten free cinnamon raisin biscuits. Sometimes it’s nice to be able to use a mix when making gluten free baked goods. Ingredients: 2 Cups Pamela’s Baking Mix 1 Stick of butter 2/3 Cup buttermilk 1/2 tsp vanilla 3 Tbsp brown sugar 1-2 Tbsp cinnamon 1/4 raisins (more if desired) Frosting ~ powdered sugar, cream, vanilla Directions: Cut butter into baking mix until thoroughly combine; pea sized pieces of butter Add buttermilk, vanilla, brown sugar, and cinnamon until thoroughly combined Stir in raisins; dough will be loose and moist Drop biscuits onto cookie sheet or…

Munchkin and D had fallen asleep on Saturday night. I slipped downstairs and starting preparing their surprise breakfast, gluten free cinnamon raisin biscuits. I was thrilled to be in Psalms for our reading this week. I often turn to Psalms when I need comfort or inspiration. It’s filled with so much emotion from hurt to anger to pure joy. The emotions contained within this book of the Bible are eloquently presented, and conversations with God are played out before our eyes. There is so much to be learned from this book of the Bible.
