Rising Temps

Project 365 – #091 I blinked and the temperatures went soaring.  It’s hard to believe it’s only April 1st when I look at the thermometer and step outside.  (And no, it’s not raining nor is there a chance of rain. I’m not sure why the thermometer does that.)  Earlier this week, we received a notice that the base pools would be opening today.  Yep, the summer temps are starting to creep in already.  The air conditioning is on full blast as I try to keep the upstairs at a comfortable temperature for sleeping. It’s hard to believe that another year has gone by, and it’s already time for the annual Ultimate Blog Party! Walking the Birds?

Project 365 – #090 Now, I’ve seen the dog strollers and pet purses, but I’ve never seen someone out walking their birds – with strollers.  When I saw this sight, I just had to snap a picture with my phone camera.  The quality isn’t the best, but it at least captured the moment.  The birds were beautiful.  With all of the people and dogs all around them, they just sat happily perched on their stroller bars.

The Ark Encounter

Have you heard that Answers in Genesis had undertaken a new project?  They are currently working on raising funds to create The Ark Encounter.  The Ark Encounter is going to have a full scale Ark replica.  In addition, the Ark Encounter will have eight other Biblical attractions which include a Walled City, the Tower of Babel, a first-century Middle Eastern village, a journey in history from Abraham to the parting of the Red Sea, a walk-through aviary, a large petting zoo, and much more.
