Review: I Can Study Esther

Posted in Reviews

With Greek ‘n Stuff‘s I Can Study Esther Alone with God Bible Study, children will learn all about the life of Esther.  The study is set up to be done 6 days of the week (Monday to Saturday).  Each day features a checklist instructing the Bible student to pray, read and/or write the specified memory verse for the week, and answer the questions for the day.  At the conclusion of the week’s study, students are given something to think and pray about based upon the lessons learned that week. The Bible study is done in a workbook style which allows…

Project 365 – #118 Today, I got up earlier, so I would be able to prepare a meal for D in the hospital in case he was able to eat solid foods today.  (He started a liquid diet late last night.)  I wanted to get the meal done before we headed over for our morning visit.  While I was preparing his meal, I received a text from him saying they were going to release him from the hospital this afternoon.  I was in shock as he still hadn’t eaten any solid food, but I assumed that they would make sure…

Project 365 – #117 The baby birds have hatched.  One baby bird likes to show off her pretty face while the other bird constantly shows me her back end.  The mama bird always tries to draw me away from the nest by flapping on the ground when I’m taking pictures.  She’s such a good mama. A Gluten Free Hospital Stay

Project 365 – #116 In a few hours, we’ll be heading to the hospital for D’s back surgery.  Ironically, the main concern on my mind right now is making sure D’s hospital stay is gluten free.  (Maybe that’s because it’s something that I can focus my energy on right now?)  Getting glutened or contaminated at the hospital could slow down his recovery as he’ll already be weak from the surgery.  We’re going to keep stressing the gluten free thing as we go along and pray that the Lord will keep him gluten free during his entire stay.  I’ll be doing…

Project 365 – #115 D wanted to head out for one last dirt bike ride before his surgery.  It’s going to be at least 6 months before he can ride again.  Even then, he’ll have to be very careful and selective about the areas in which he rides.  Riding is relaxing for him, so he’ll definitely miss our weekend exploration trips. Munchkin really wanted to use these last few days to spend some quality time with Daddy.  She’s been wanting to go fishing with him for some time.  (Funny side note… We picked up a new tackle box for Munchkin…
