New Family Pictures

Posted in Family, and Photography

Daddy and Daughter

I’m rather funny about getting new family pictures before any major event such as a deployment or surgery.  It’s just how I am, and thankfully, my family doesn’t mind.  lol!  Daddy always enjoys having new pictures of his girls.  **grin**

Family Picture

Since D’s surgery is Monday afternoon, we decided that today would be a good day to head out to a local hiking area not too far from here to take pictures.  Because D has been in so much pain, we needed a spot where we could drive right up to it, and he wouldn’t have to walk/hike very far.  We got going a little late, so we did have to deal with less than perfect lighting.  We have squinty eye syndrome going on in some of the pictures, and you can also see the remote in the family pic.  (We’re new to using the remote, so we still need to figure that out.  lol!)  That being said, I’m pleased to have some new family pics.

Mommy and Daughter

These pics really show how much Munchkin has grown.  It’s the first time where she’s been taller than me, so that was an interesting twist.  The ground was not level, so it’s not always as obvious as it is in real life.

Husband and Wife

D and I don’t have that many pictures of the two of us together, so I wanted to make sure we actually got one this time.  I think Munchkin did a great job taking the picture.

  3. Great pictures! My daughter has passed up Grandma in height. While it is nice to see them grow, it does seem to happen so fast. I’m praying for your husband today.
