How to Scare Grandma…

How do you scare Grandma?  You round up the grand children, you take them to the Grand Canyon, and you allow them to explore just a bit.  Then, you make sure to take some great pictures near the edge of the Canyon.  Needless to say, poor Grandma had several near heart attacks during our trip to the Grand Canyon.

I have to admit that given D’s limited mobility and difficulty with balance and walking at that point in time, I was a bit more concerned with him than I was about the girls.  The girls were well supervised during the whole trip.  Munchkin made me nervous a couple of times, but that’s nothing abnormal for her.  lol!

Ahhh, I would love, love, love the chance to see The Grand Canyon with my family. None of us have ever been there, YET. 🙂

My husband’s mother died 13 years ago, and mine died over 8 years ago; so, I have several children that have never known a grandmother. Sweet memories – having a grandma to scare! lol

Stopping by from the crew and FINALLY following your blog via GFC.

    Blessings,

    • I know how it is to say goodbye to a parent. My mother died 14 years ago. Thankfully, Munchkin still has my stopmom and hubby’s mom as well as great-grandparents. I’m sorry for your loss.

We’ve been blessed to visit the Grand Canyon twice now as a family. Plus, I went there with my family when I was younger. It doesn’t matter how many times I see it though as the beauty takes my breath away.
