A Day of Decorating

Playful Moon Picture

Today was filled with decorating.  Munchkin decorated the tree again this year.  (Picture to be posted later.)  She did a great job again.  Several of the nativity scenes are now up, and a few more have yet to find their homes for the holidays.  Christmas music fills the air.  As per our crazy tradition, we watched Jingle All the Way while decorating.  I’m not exactly sure how this tradition started, but it did several years ago.

I was able to get a few things decorated outside.  Munchkin and I worked on a fun project while we watched the football game.  I’ll be posting about that later as well.

Now, we’re all quite tired, and I hear the bed calling my name.

Today, I’m extremely grateful for cheery Christmas decorations and family time.  I’m grateful for D’s long weekend off from work, so we can spend extra time with him.

This post is part of the Gratitude Challenge.
