I would love to be able to report that I had a fabulous week, but I’d be fibbing. I did do pretty well with meeting my healthy eating goals. Other than eating a little candy, I was able to eat healthy meals. D was kind enough to cook up a meal or two for us this week.
Monday and Tuesday were good days. I was able to get in some good exercise and plenty of water.
Wednesday was the beginning of the not-so-good rest of the week. I’ve been dealing with pretty bad headaches for the second half of the week. Thankfully, I’ve been able to keep them from flipping into migraines. This has meant that I have been drinking more Dr. Pepper this week. (I don’t drink coffee, so I get the caffeine to help curb the headache from the pop.) I haven’t been drinking large amounts of Dr. Pepper, but it’s more than last week.
I’m continuing to drink water as avoiding dehydration is a key in keeping my headaches semi under control.
The headaches have helped keep my computer usage under control. lol! I’ve also been getting to bed earlier as I need the extra rest.
It hasn’t been a great week for my fitness goals, but it hasn’t been a complete flop either. I’m hoping to feel up to getting a little exercise in today. We’ll see where the day leads….

I have had a migraine the last two days as well and have been drinking Pepsi to try and help. I’m sorry you haven’t had a great week. At least you eating has been on track, right? keep going!

Must be something about this time of year b/c loads of us have headaches, but you did what you could do…have you tried the diet version of your pop? That would give you the caffeine w/o the calories~if you want it that way…

I don’t do diet because the “fake” sweeteners give me headaches. 😉 I try to eat real foods as much as possible, so I stay away from low fat, fat free substitutes.
The first part of your week sounds good. And keeping up the water is definitely better than only Dr. Pepper! Hope the headaches subside!

Thanks. Drinking only Dr. Pepper is never an option. It would be too expensive and impossible to stay hydrated around here. 🙂
I hate migraines. That’s one of the reasons I’ve been trying to up my water intake and keep my Coke Zero limit at less then 2. I hope this next week is better for you and that your headaches stop as you continue increasing your water.
